In modern ports, the Cell fenders will be seen far more often than the Yokohama fenders.

 

They are directly connected to the quay wall and the impact energy is cushioned by a cylindrical buffer.

 

The Cell Fender can be printed at any scale. Depending on the size, the cell fender can be glued to the quay wall or attached with screws (not included).

 

our advantages

  • This model is not designed for any specific scale. However, note that the     quality of detail varies with scale. The smaller your model, the more details will be lost.
  • Any number of copies - Buy the product once and use it for your entire port facility - a great advantage, especially with fenders.
  • Decide for yourself which materials you use for printing. Here you can use a combination of PLA and TPU to use the fender functions properly (not a must).
  • The limits of printing are determined by your 3D printer. The build space of your printer determines the maximum possible scale.

 

modularity

  • Our models are all coordinated. Any model you use can be scaled combined with other models.
  • The initial scale of our files is 1:1 - i.e. original size. So you can always calculate the files down to your desired scale  and thus save yourself unnecessary intermediate calculations.

 

assembly

  • No assembly instructions are required for this model. In the product images you can see a schematic drawing, from which you can see the correct type of assembly.

 

Scope of delivery

  • Data set consisting of STL and OBJ files.

 

Not included

  • In order to get a realistic appearance with this product, you must purchase a chain (to match the desired scale). The cell fenders are equipped with tear-off protection, which secures the fender panel to the quay wall with chains. The corresponding eyelets are included as print files.
