The F122-class (Bremen-class) frigate was a backbone of the German Navy for decades. Entering service in the early 1980s, it embodied the most modern naval technology of its time. With its distinctive superstructure, striking hangar, and slight tendency toward elegance despite its military robustness, it is considered a milestone in post-war German shipbuilding.
