The "Bürgermeister Weichmann" (WS3) is one of the most distinctive police boats of the Hamburg Water Police. As a modern operational vessel, it shapes the image of the Port of Hamburg and the Elbe River and performs a wide range of tasks – from monitoring shipping traffic and supporting rescue and environmental operations to general hazard prevention on the water.
 

 
 This model kit was developed with great passion and respect for the original. The aim was to authentically transfer the characteristic lines and special charisma of the "Mayor Weichmann" into a 3D-printable model.
 

 
 The data set was specifically optimized for 3D printing and offers a balanced combination of detail, printability, and stability. The model impresses with its high functionality, which takes the driving experience to a new level.
 

 

 
 Functioning bow thruster
 

 
 The model is equipped with a functional bow thruster, driven by a horizontal paddle wheel. The mounts are integrated into the structure and designed for easy installation and maintenance. Motors and control technology are required for operation.
 

 
 Fire extinguishing monitor
 

 
 On the back of the Bürgermeister Weichmann ship is a fire monitor, which we have also integrated into the structure as a functional component. You will need a separate pump, hoses, and control technology for its operation.
 

 
 This kit is designed for both beginners and experienced modelers and is scalable. The model is optimized for 1:25 scale. Scale the boat to 4000% in your slicer to create a 1:25 scale model. Decals, SVG files for windows, and assembly instructions are included.

 What does base cube mean? The base cube represents the maximum dimensions of the model layout. Every component to be printed fits within this cube. If the boat were printed at its original size (1:1), you would need a build volume of 6.9 m x 6.9 m x 6.9 m to print your parts. Divide this value by the scale, and you'll know how large your build volume needs to be.

 For the 1:25 scale model, you will need 3.5-4 kg of filament for the structures, depending on your support settings and layer heights, and an additional 400 g of TPU filament for the fenders.
