The RGM-84 Harpoon missile is an anti-ship missile and is widely used within NATO. He is also used by the German Navy. On ships, the Harpoon missile is mounted on the MK-141 launcher with 4 missiles per launcher. The launcher itself is rigidly mounted on the ship's deck.
Of course, the set does not include the missile itself, but rather just the MK141 launcher and the associated RGM84 Harpoon container.
The model
The set consists of three components, some of which have to be printed several times. The model can be printed at any scale. For smaller scales we recommend RESIN printing. In this set we have included the container as a whole model for FDM printing and as a 4-part model for FDM printing.
The launcher is saved in its original size, so you can adapt it to any scale. Please note that the slicers read the model data smaller than it actually is. Slicers turn meter information into millimeter information.
The model is printable with conventional PLA. However, we recommend something more "elastic" material, such as. PLA+. This has better bendability and makes the model less susceptible to breakage
our advantages
- This model is not designed for any specific scale. The standards given above are only a recommendation. However, also note that the quality of detail varies with your scale. The smaller your model, the more details are lost.
- Any number of copies - Buy the product once and use it for your entire fleet within the household.
- Decide for yourself which materials you use for printing.
- You always have spare parts on hand and you don't have to spend time researching to find defective parts, even after years of operation.
- The limits of printing are determined by your 3D printer. The build space of your printer determines the maximum possible scale.
